Skiing with disabilities or impairments

With a fresh approach and specialized equipment, the adaptive skiing programme is devised for you to reexperience or discover sensations similar to alpine skiing. As they guide you on-mountain, certified instructors help you perfect your technique, ensuring yours is an unforgettable experience!

Types of lessons offered

  • Technical Assistance | Persons with visual impairments
  • Three-Track Skiing with Crutch-Skis (Stabilos) | Single-leg amputees
  • Four-Track Skiing with Crutch-Skis (Stabilos) | Persons with motor skill difficulties
  • Sit-Skiing with Crutch-Skis (Stabilos) | Paraplegics with strong upper body / arms

Each adaptive lesson includes

  • Day Lift Tickets for one disabled client and their companion
  • Adaptive Ski Equipment
  • Equipment Adjustments and preparations for departure
  • 1.5 hours Learning & Support Session [1/1 student/instructor ratio]
1.5 hours clinic $105
Bloc de 6 heures $345

Rates are in Canaidan dollars. Taxes not included. At the ticketing  (for adaptive skiing without a lesson): the disabled skier pays 50% of its lift ticket and rental (if necessary) at Sports Alpins rental. If he needs assistance, this rate also applies to his attendant.
