UPDATE | MARCH 23, 2020

19-20 season is now over

Given the uncertainty associated with the situation of COVID-19 and the importance of securing mountain facilities and informing our customers as quickly as possible, we officially confirm to you today that Stoneham Mountain Resort will end its winter activities for the 2019-2020 season.

In response to COVID-19, we cannot have staff stationed at the station. Our facilities will remain closed until further notice. There is, therefore, no possible return of rental equipment and possession of your ski equipment or other personal belongings at the moment. We will advise you of the possibility of returning to visit our facilities as soon as possible.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused, we thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

For now, please consult the information below. It should answer a number of frequently asked questions submitted on our assorted platforms.

As well, please note that in due course, updates on the current situation and on future decisions will be posted on our Facebook pages and websites.

Finally, for the safety and well-being of all, please respect the guidelines and signage that has been posted.

CLOSED MOUNTAINS, CHALETS, LOCKERS, AND OFFICES

We remind you that all our facilities and our trails are closed until further notice. Access to the mountain is prohibited at all times, whether for alpine skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, fat biking, hiking, snowshoeing, sliding, snowmobiling, etc.

As well and until further notice, access to the chalets’ indoor locker areas for the purpose of retrieving equipment is not permitted.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused, and until a reopening date has been announced, we thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

More information

Under the Consumer Protection Act, there will be no refunds or financial compensation for 2019/20 season passes. These passes were only valid during the 2019/20 season and by government decree, it has now come to a close.

A ski season can last for an undetermined period of time. We are not responsible for climate conditions, and opening and closing dates are not guaranteed. We are currently experiencing a case of force majeure. And this year, season passholders have enjoyed access to Mont-Sainte-Anne over a reasonably long period of time.

Exceptionally, anyone with a valid 2019/20 lift ticket will be able to use it, at no extra cost, in 2020/21. Because lift tickets will remain valid next season, no refunds will be issued.

How to collect your new tickets?

From the opening of the 20-21 ski season, you will be able to present to customer service your tickets purchased during the 2019-20 season. These tickets will be subject to the same restrictions.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURES ‒ WINTER SPORTS SCHOOL AND RACE PROGRAMS?

Due to heavier volumes and to ensure timely follow-ups, clients are encouraged to contact us by email at ecole@mont-sainte-anne.com. The TELUS Winter Sports School and the entire ski area are currently closed, should a client wish to visit in person.

Each program has been individually examined, and a credit was generated on a pro-rata basis, according to the total number of lessons offered and those that were cancelled due to the closure of our Winter Sports School. This amount will be credited to your account, to be used next year.

In response to COVID-19, we are unable to have employees working at the ski area. Our facilities will remain closed until further notice. At this time, rentals cannot be returned and taking possession of your ski equipment or other personal belongings is not possible. As soon as we can, you will be advised to come visit our installations again.
