Even if you’ve never seen them before, soon you won’t be able to do without them! These blue sleds can be found on racks at different locations around the base of the mountain, and at the four corners of our parking areas. A simple plus that makes life so much easier for parents. When you arrive, take one to carry your crew’s gear to the foot of the trails, and your adorable toddlers too! Enjoy your free ride!
SKIABLE TERRAIN FOR FAMILIES
After the beginner area, kids are always thrilled when the time comes to set out and explore the mountain! From the summit, choose from a number of trails. Another great way to select the terrain you want to discover is by viewing our online daily snow report. This practical bulletin lets you check off the trail calibre that suits you — Easy, or Easy & Intermediate — and view your options and their location on our trail map.
Here are a few nice family trails!
[Head to the summit on Lift H [detachable quad with bubbles — it’s so smooth and easy].- On your left, Trail #8 [Le Petit-Champlain] is a good choice. After the first segment, turn left onto La Randonnée [#6], the easiest trail on the mountain. To boost your challenge, try Trail #8 all the way to the base.
- On your right, La Laurentienne is a nice and easy family trail with a short, slightly steeper pitch towards the end that spans across a few metres.
- La Casimir, reached via the top of Trail #8, are delightful glades that come complete with snow features, shrubs and friendly figures that are sure to enchant both small and tall. This gladed sector also offers the perfect vertical for learning to ride this type of terrain.
- Opposite Trail #8, two other glades present the same level of difficulty: Caribou and Wapiti.
